Job Summary

You are a dependable and detail-oriented Sort Machine Operator who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You are committed to safety, quality, and efficiency while ensuring materials are processed accurately to support customer production needs. You take pride in maintaining a clean work area, communicating effectively with your team, and meeting daily production goals.

This Position Pays $18-$18.50

What You Will Be Doing

  • Operate a sort machine in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse environment.
  • Sort and process a minimum of 10,000 tier sheets during an 8-hour shift while maintaining quality standards.
  • Complete safety checklists, production logs, and quality logs accurately and on time.
  • Follow CTPS quality standards and SQF food safety requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal team members.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management regarding production and operational needs.
  • Perform routine housekeeping using a "clean-as-you-go" approach to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 55 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
  • Keep production in sync with customer demand while maintaining productivity and quality expectations.

What You Bring

  • At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience operating production equipment or sort machines is preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, transport packaging, and production processes.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with 5S Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and maintaining productivity goals.
