Job Summary
You are: A detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate about creating a positive employee experience. In this role, you will provide HR support across multiple functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits, compliance, performance management, and HR systems. You'll work using UKG UltiPro to handle payroll and update HRIS system with all employee changes.
This position pays: $30-$37/hr
Location: Davis, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
What you will be doing:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support HR programs related to benefits, compensation, performance management, recognition, retention, and professional development.
- Using UKG UltiPro to handle payroll.
- Administer and maintain Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process improvements.
- Assist with training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to promote a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace culture.
- Support HR team members with daily operations, events, and process improvement initiatives.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reporting, pivot tables, etc.) and Microsoft Outlook (calendar and communication management
- Experience with benefits administration, compensation, performance management, and talent acquisition.
- Proficiency in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or similar HR Information Systems (HRIS)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
