Job Summary

You are a reliable and detail-oriented Material Sorter responsible for sorting, inspecting, cleaning, and preparing returnable and reusable pallets, top frames, separator sheets, and bins that support rigid container manufacturing operations. You will play an important role in ensuring these materials are safely managed and ready to continue through the supply chain while maintaining quality and safety standards.

This Position Pays: $17 - $17

What You Will Be Doing

  • Sort and separate mixed stacks of pallets, top frames, separator sheets, and bins by material type.
  • Inspect materials for damage, contamination, moisture, and overall quality.
  • Remove and separate damaged materials according to company procedures.
  • Clean materials using designated equipment and perform a final quality inspection.
  • Accurately document production quantities, inspection findings, dates, and times.
  • Coordinate with forklift drivers to move completed materials to the appropriate location.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes, at all times.
  • Participate in training and remain knowledgeable about company policies and procedures.

What You Bring

  • Previous warehouse, production, or material sorting experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify damaged or contaminated materials.
  • Ability to accurately complete production and inspection records.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with forklift operators, supervisors, and team members.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, is a plus.
  • Dependable work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
