Job Summary

AP/AR Specialist (CONTRACT)

You are are a hands-on AP/AR Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a temporary role supporting a busy accounting team, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and light Accounts Receivable work. You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support daily operations.

This position pays: $30/hour depending on experience

Location: St. Helena, CA (fully onsite)

  What you will be doing:

  • Process high-volume Accounts Payable (approximately 400 invoices per week)
  • Review and manage invoices through Business Central
  • Identify vendors, create invoice templates, and support automation workflows
  • Assist with light Accounts Receivable, primarily on the wholesale side
  • Support basic accounting and administrative tasks as needed
  • Work closely with the AP/AR team member and broader accounting team
  • Help maintain organization and accuracy during a period of team transition
  • Collaborate with internal teams across multiple locations (tasting rooms, warehouses, production)

What you bring:

  • Experience with Accounts Payable (high-volume preferred) and basic AR exposure
  • Experience with Business Central required (Continia is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Flexible, “roll up your sleeves” attitude with willingness to support various tasks
  • Strong communication and ability to work closely with a small, collaborative team
  • Comfortable working fully onsite, Monday–Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
