An exciting opportunity is available with a growing food manufacturer in Sonoma County, offering the chance to lead food safety and quality programs in one of Northern California’s most desirable regions. This Quality Assurance Manager role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys building strong teams, driving continuous improvement, and owning food safety performance end-to-end.

The Quality Assurance Manager leads all Food Safety & Quality Assurance programs for the facility, ensuring compliance with FDA, FSMA, and SQF/GFSI standards, as well as customer, consumer, and internal requirements. This role develops, implements, and maintains policies, systems, and procedures that ensure the safety, quality, and consistency of finished products.

The position directly supervises QA Technicians, QA Coordinators, and the Sanitation Supervisor, fostering a culture of accountability, documentation excellence, audit readiness, and operational discipline. The role partners closely with Production, Maintenance, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to support daily operations, product launches, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. There is also exposure to cross-site and corporate-level projects.

This opportunity offers flexible start times (6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.), a competitive base salary of $100,000–$115,000 plus bonus, excellent benefits, and long-term growth potential within a stable, expanding organization. This is an on-site leadership role in beautiful Sonoma County, combining professional impact with exceptional quality of life.
