Loan Closing Coordinator II

You are a detail-oriented mortgage professional who can quickly step into a high-volume lending environment with minimal training. You have strong experience in mortgage closing, funding, and document review, with a deep understanding of TRID regulations and investor compliance requirements.

Location: Napa, Ca

Schedule: Full-time contract assignment through July 7 | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

This Position Pays: $24–31/hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Prepare, review, and distribute mortgage closing documents to title and escrow companies
• Review executed loan packages for accuracy, completeness, compliance, signatures, and funding conditions
• Ensure all underwriting stipulations and pre-/post-funding conditions are satisfied
• Review and approve Closing Disclosures and settlement statements for fee accuracy, tolerance compliance, escrow calculations, and regulatory adherence
• Initiate and reconcile wire transfers and funding transactions with closing agents
• Maintain accurate loan records within the loan origination system and core banking platform
• Research and resolve complex loan closing or funding issues with internal and external partners
• Support post-closing activities and investor delivery requirements
• Assist with training materials, procedures, and operational support as needed
• Work collaboratively with escrow/title companies, shared inboxes, and lending operations teams in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring:

• 3–5+ years of mortgage closing, funding, or document drawing experience
• Strong working knowledge of TRID, RESPA, Closing Disclosures, and mortgage compliance requirements
• Experience reviewing final loan documents and clearing funding conditions
• Proficiency with loan origination systems (Empower preferred; Encompass, Byte, or Origins accepted)
• Knowledge of investor guidelines, including Fannie Mae requirements, preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume workflows independently
• Experience working with escrow/title companies and funding transactions
• Proficiency with Adobe PDF and standard banking systems; Symitar experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; mortgage lending operations experience required
