Job Summary

Accounts Payable Clerk (CONTRACT)

You are a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable professional with experience processing high volumes of invoices in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy collaborating across departments, take initiative in improving processes, and thrive in a structured accounting environment.

This position pays: $25-28/hour depending on experience

What you will be doing:

  • Process high-volume, full-cycle Accounts Payable invoices accurately and timely.
  • Match, code, and enter invoices into the JAMIS PRIME ERP system.
  • Process vendor payments and assist with check runs.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding invoices and payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice issues.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and update vendor information as needed.
  • Utilize Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
  • Assist with month-end close and other accounting support activities.
  • Maintain clear, written documentation of Accounts Payable procedures.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
  • Experience processing high-volume invoices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience using the JAMIS ERP system strongly preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or SAP is a plus.
  • Understanding of Accounts Payable processes and basic accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
