Consumer Lending Loan Coordinator

You enjoy managing loan processes from approval through funding, collaborating across teams, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive member experience.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA (TEMPORARY POSITION)

This Position Pays: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Guide members through the loan process from approval to funding, providing timely updates and collecting required documentation.
  • Deliver outstanding service by responding to member inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining ownership of issues through resolution.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Consumer Lending team, including phone coverage, correspondence, reporting, and project assistance.
  • Assist Direct and Indirect Lending teams with loan processing, documentation review, and funding activities.
  • Maintain accurate loan records, process UCC filings when required, and ensure files are complete for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Follow up with members, dealers, and vendors to obtain outstanding documentation and facilitate timely loan funding.
  • Monitor loan pipelines to ensure service standards and production goals are met.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through appropriate cross-selling of products and services.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and the member experience.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in banking, credit union operations, lending, or a related financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of loan origination systems, lending practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and commitment to exceptional service.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including 1–2 Saturdays per month.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Credit Endorsee registration with the California Department of Insurance.
