Job Summary

Paralegal – Civil Litigation

You are a detail-oriented and organized professional with knowledge of civil litigation statutes, California Rules of Court, and local court rules for Sonoma County and Bay Area courts. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
This Position Pays: $35–$42/hour DOE | TEMP with potential for TEMP-TO-HIRE
Schedule: In-office, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents, including motions, discovery, deposition notices, subpoenas, and Judicial Council forms.
  • E-filing with multiple court systems.
  • Managing case files and electronic document systems.
  • Conducting legal research and assisting attorneys with case preparation.
  • Coordinating administrative tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.

What You Bring:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Pro.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with Caret Legal and Essential Forms (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in civil litigation and knowledge of Sonoma County Superior Court procedures.
