Job Summary

You are a reliable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician who supports daily building operations by completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to urgent facility needs. You help ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for employees by addressing maintenance discrepancies and supporting the M&O team.

This position pays: $30 - $32

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

What you will be doing:

  • Review assigned work orders to prepare for job completion and follow-up
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks throughout the facility
  • Respond to urgent or emergency maintenance issues reported by staff
  • Investigate and resolve facility discrepancies
  • Complete basic building maintenance including:
    • Changing light fixtures and bulbs
    • Replacing damaged ceiling tiles
    • Troubleshooting basic plumbing and mechanical issues
    • Patching and painting walls
  • Support team members with various maintenance projects
  • Escort vendors as needed to ensure site access and compliance
  • Help increase response time and efficiency of work order completion
  • Provide additional coverage to support reduced staffing levels

What you bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General maintenance experience including use of hand tools, plumbing repair, lighting repair, patching, and painting
  • Experience working in commercial buildings preferred
  • Experience using CMMS work order systems (AMMS experience a plus)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and vendors
