Job Summary

You are a Maintenance Mechanic II assigned to improve the productivity, quality, and margins of the facility. You will be targeting implementation of automation, statistical process controls, product flow and systems improvements.

This position pays: $27.31 - $31.73/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

What you will be doing:

  • Monitoring and maintaining preventative maintenance program through IQMS.
  • Performing and documenting machine Preventative Maintenance.
  • Maintaining adequate stock of parts and supplies needed for PM’s.
  • Defining and sourcing components and equipment for repairs.
  • Using hand and power tools in a safe manner.
  • Working in accordance to internal and external safety standards.
  • Conserving maintenance resources by using only what is needed at time of need.
  • Communicating with multiple departments in a professional manner.
  • Fabricating components for repair and improvements.
  • Adhering to standards and procedures of company and regulating bodies.
  • Operating a personal computer, utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.

What you bring:

  • Minimum five years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Hydraulic and Electrical proficiency.
  • Knowledgeable in differences of Metric vs Standard tools.
  • Adaptability to changing directives on a day-to-day basis.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Computer skills (Basic MS Outlook, Teams, MS Office) are important.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices are a must.
  • Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move about frequently and for extended periods of time
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally
  • Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously
  • Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
