Accounts Payable Clerk (CONTRACT)
You are a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable professional with experience processing high volumes of invoices in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy collaborating across departments, take initiative in improving processes, and thrive in a structured accounting environment.
This position pays: $25-28/hour depending on experience
What you will be doing:
- Process high-volume, full-cycle Accounts Payable invoices accurately and timely.
- Match, code, and enter invoices into the JAMIS PRIME ERP system.
- Process vendor payments and assist with check runs.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding invoices and payment discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice issues.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and update vendor information as needed.
- Utilize Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Assist with month-end close and other accounting support activities.
- Maintain clear, written documentation of Accounts Payable procedures.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience processing high-volume invoices in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience using the JAMIS ERP system strongly preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite and/or SAP is a plus.
- Understanding of Accounts Payable processes and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team mindset.
- Discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
