Sailing Enthusiast

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable sailing enthusiast with a strong understanding of sailing and boating. The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing sailing equipment, products, and boating needs with customers and can use their knowledge to help identify the right products and solutions. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are important, but hands-on sailing/boating knowledge is the key qualification for this role.

Location: Rancho Cordova (Onsite)
Pay: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule Options: Full-time or part-time for students

What You Will Be Doing:

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with boating and sailing-related product questions and orders

• Use your sailing/boating knowledge to help customers understand products and determine what may best fit their needs

• Process online orders accurately and promptly

• Follow up with customers to obtain additional information or clarify product needs

• Create and maintain accurate customer profiles and order records

• Share customer questions and product feedback with the appropriate team

• Assist with website updates, product information, and sailing-related content

What You Bring:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of sailing/boating is required

• Personal sailing experience or significant boating knowledge strongly preferred

• Ability to confidently discuss sailing equipment, terminology, and products

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly over the phone

• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems; Mac/Apple experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple customer needs while maintaining accurate records

• Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but sailing/boating knowledge is the priority
