Marketing and Community Associate
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule: In-Person | 20–30 hours per week
Compensation: $22–$25 per hour
The Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and service-minded to join a dynamic service oriented team. You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the business while also supporting digital marketing initiatives. You will be one of the first people members and guests see when they arrive, making this position critical to creating a welcoming, professional, and positive first impression. The ideal candidate is personable, flexible, organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable balancing customer service, administrative responsibilities, facility support, and digital marketing projects. Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Manage social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Create and schedule weekly posts and engaging content.
- Monitor and respond to comments and online engagement.
- Create and manage paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google, Yelp, and social media while ensuring monthly spending remains within budget.
- Create and distribute a monthly newsletter to subscribers.
- Track and report on digital marketing performance, establish goals, and make adjustments in partnership with the Community Manager.
Front Desk & Community Support
- Create a warm, welcoming, and professional experience for members, guests, and visitors.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general inquiries.
- Accept packages and sort incoming mail.
- Help members and guests remain productive by assisting with meeting room setup, technology needs, computer cords, printers, and other day-to-day requests.
- Provide responsive, solutions-oriented support to members and visitors.
Space & Event Support
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of meetings, events, and community activities.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
- Restock basic office supplies and monitor shared spaces.
- Troubleshoot basic printer and technology issues.
- Occasionally assemble desks or chairs and move furniture to accommodate member and event needs.
- Be available for occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, office administration, community management, or a similar service-oriented role.
- Experience with social media marketing and some exposure to digital marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
