We are seeking a Senior Optics Manufacturing Technician to play a key hands-on role in high-precision optics manufacturing within a cleanroom environment. This position is ideal for an experienced optics professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and quality, and who enjoys contributing to continuous improvement and technical excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble, handle, and process delicate optical components in a cleanroom setting
• Inspect optical elements for defects and verify performance using advanced tools such as interferometry and spectrophotometry
• Perform precision measurements using specialized optical instruments while maintaining extremely tight tolerances
• Maintain strict cleanliness, documentation, and compliance with quality and manufacturing standards
• Support troubleshooting efforts, root-cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to best practices and serve as a technical resource or mentor to other technicians as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in optics manufacturing, thin films, optical coatings, or other high-precision manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of optical inspection, testing methods, and precision measurement tools
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering and production teams
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus, but not required
