Accounting Manager (CONTRACT)

You are an experienced Accounting Manager who will work with the Accounting Supervisor & Controller to manage the accounting team and oversee month end close. You have at least 3 years of management experience with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

This position pays: $55-60/hour depending on experience

Location: Novato, CA

What you will be doing:

• Review & Post Staff Journal Entries: Payroll, Patient Revenue, Deposit Log, Accruals, Prepaid Assets and Insurances, Health & Benefit Allocations, 340B Pharmacy, Credit Cards, PEX, Investments
• Review Weekly Accounts Payable Batch Entries in Sage Intacct
• Review Staff Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Investments, Patient AR, AP Trade, AP Accrual, PTO Accrual, Wage, Benefit and 403B Accruals, Bank Loans, LTD, Restricted and Unrestricted Assets.
• Prepare & Enter Monthly Close Journal Entries:  Loan Amortization, Lease accounting entries
• Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts: Right of Use & Lease Liability, Loan Amortization, Unemployment
• Rollover & Update Monthly FS, Visit Analysis & Graphs, Medical & Dental Revenue & Employment Cost Analysis & Graphs
• Review Monthly Board Reports, Dashboards and Scorecards for accuracy, tie out to Financial Statements
• Financial Statement Trending:  Research and written commentary of monthly expense variances to budget / prior period
• Ad hoc projects as required by management
