This Position Pays: $22-$24
What You Will Be Doing

  • Monitor inventory of coffee, tea, and break room supplies across Northern California sites to ensure adequate stock levels and coordinate with janitorial staff for replenishment.

  • Coordinate conference room setups with requestors and verify all rooms are prepared accurately prior to meetings.

  • Provide receptionist coverage during scheduled breaks, lunches, PTO, and sick leave for Building 1000 reception staff.

  • Greet and assist visitors, guests, and vendors while maintaining a professional front desk presence.

  • Operate the corporate switchboard, directing incoming calls to corporate staff, technical support, and customer service teams.

  • Assist Executive Administrative Assistants with visitor check-in and guest support.

  • Support mailroom operations by sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Pick up and deliver interoffice mail throughout the Hercules campus.

  • Operate postage meters, UPS shipping systems, and mail sorting equipment.

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities.

  • Conduct periodic site walks to ensure janitorial standards are maintained.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Provide seamless front desk coverage when the primary receptionist is unavailable.

  • Reduce reliance on security personnel for receptionist backup.

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for workplace refreshments.

  • Ensure uninterrupted mailroom operations during staff absences.

  • Verify conference rooms are properly prepared for meetings.

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional workplace environment.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2 years of receptionist experience preferred.

  • 3+ years of mailroom and shipping/receiving experience preferred.

  • Experience operating postage meters, mail sorters, and shipping equipment.

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Experience using SAP is preferred.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
