Financial Analyst

You are an analytical and collaborative Financial Analyst who thrives on turning data into insight. You’ll support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis while helping the organization understand customer and distributor trends to drive growth and profitability.

This position pays: $50/hour depending on experience

Location: Pittsburg, CA - Hybrid (3 days onsite)

What you will be doing:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning through detailed financial modeling
• Perform variance analysis comparing actuals to forecast and prior periods; provide actionable insights
• Conduct data analytics on customer demand trends, pricing, and market share
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, operations, and accounting teams to align on business objectives
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to visualize financial and operational performance
• Support cost accounting activities, including cost of goods sold (COGS) and fixed asset tracking
• Analyze capital expenditures, ROI evaluations, and financial due diligence for new projects
• Extract, integrate, and interpret data from SAP and other systems to support business decisions
• Identify process improvements and help drive data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms
• Present financial insights and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA or CPA preferred)
• 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, cost accounting, or data-driven financial roles
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization
• SAP experience (implementation experience a plus); familiarity with Power BI or Tableau a bonus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Curious, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for understanding how the business operates
• Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally and build strong relationships
