You are Tooling Machinist that will support engineering tests, improvement projects and new tooling validations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to machining of plastic and aluminum parts. Maintain a clean work area and perform scheduled maintenance on machining equipment and ensure assignments are completed to support daily production goals.

This position pays: $30hr

What you will be doing:

• Support plastic component manufacturing and assembly for medical equipment
• Observe safety protocols for machining equipment and report potential safety hazards and needed repairs
• Support engineering tests, continuous improvement projects and new tooling validations
• Develop, troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the machining of plastic and aluminum parts
• Welding
• Use of a milling machine, lathe, belt/disc sander and various hand tools

What you bring:

• High School Diploma
• Experience with 5-Axis tool path programming
• 4+ years of experience working in plastics or aluminum machining, preferably automotive, aeronautical or medical devise industry
• 4+ years of experience reading and interpreting technical drawing and G-Code
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Proficiency using 3-Axis CNC (Fadel preferred), machining and cutting tools, table saw, drill press, milling machine
• Medical devise and /or regulatory industry experience
