Machine Operator Graveyard Shift

Job Summary
You are a Machine Operator supporting production operations on the graveyard shift in a fast-paced processing facility in Hayward, CA. You’ll work under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, Process Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, or Logistics Coordinator, helping ensure product moves safely and efficiently through the sterilization process.
This position pays:
$21.00 per hour (or $23.11/hr. when accounting for paid lunch).
What you will be doing:

Monitoring sterilizers, irradiators, and support equipment to detect malfunctions.

Recording process readings and conducting product inspections.

Performing preventative maintenance tasks and assisting with minor repairs.

Verifying product loading diagrams and placing/removing dosimeters.

Following safety procedures, handling chemicals properly, and reporting system or product issues.

Supporting additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
What you bring:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
-
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive bending/lifting.

Willingness to work graveyard shifts and complete required training.

Basic computer skills preferred.
Training Required:
-
Operator certification within the first 18 months.
-
Completion of all “Material Handler” training as outlined in the manual.
