Job Summary
Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Sebastopol, CA
Pay: $18 per hour plus benefits.
A leading manufacturer is seeking a Production Associate to join its team in Sebastopol, CA. This role works closely with the production team to ensure the highest quality food products are made efficiently and safely. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all company HACCP and GMP guidelines for food processing and production
- Maintain proper sanitation standards during all production processes
- Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Use correct packaging materials and monitor print codes for quality and accuracy
- Stack and palletize finished products neatly and consistently
- Accurately complete production paperwork
- Change and replace film rolls and sizes on machines as needed
- Move products in and out of incubation rooms and into blast chillers
- Assist in equipment and product changeovers
- Rinse, sanitize, and clean equipment before, during, and after production
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for cleaning and setup
- Check and log chemical concentrations when required
- Gather ingredients and supplies needed for daily production
- Track and manage product inventory during production
Required Competencies:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and workplace safety practices
