Visitor Services Associate/Concierge

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Hours: Fri/Sat and Mon/Tues: 9:45 – 4:15  (TEMP TO HIRE)

This Position Pays: $20/hr

You are a  friendly, resourceful, and detail-oriented individual passionate about hospitality and Sonoma County. You thrive in a customer-facing role, enjoy sharing local insights, and are comfortable supporting both guests and a team of volunteers in a fast-paced visitor center environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Welcoming and assisting visitors in person, by phone, and via email with accurate and timely information.
• Providing guidance to volunteers and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
• Opening and closing the Welcome Center following procedures.
• Researching and sharing up-to-date information on local events, attractions, and dining.
• Maintaining inventory of brochures, office supplies, and retail merchandise.
• Assembling visitor information packets and preparing bulk mailings.
• Supporting vendors and coordinating with building maintenance or security as needed.
• Reporting schedule changes, emergencies, or concerns to management.

What You Bring:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of CRM systems (SRMC preferred).
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently.
• Familiarity with Sonoma County tourism and the Visit Santa Rosa/California Welcome Center network.
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or a visitor-facing role.
• A positive, proactive attitude and team spirit.
• Education or coursework in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
