Accounting Assistant
Location: San Rafael, CA - Onsite 

You are a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team. This role will support accounts payable and receivable processes, perform administrative tasks, and assist with monthly reconciliations. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative department.

This position pays: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Process accounts payable: verify vendor information and amounts after approval and ensure timely payment
• Assist with accounts receivable, including input of check payments
• Perform monthly credit card reconciliations
• Answer internal and external inquiries regarding business license renewals
• Support the Finance department with administrative and data entry tasks
• Work across various systems and platforms to ensure accurate financial records

What you bring:

• 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or accounting support role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to process information quickly and accurately
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general comfort with learning new software systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Familiarity with basic accounting functions (AP/AR, reconciliations) is preferred
