Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Location: Sebastopol, CA

Pay Rate: $23/hour plus excellent benefits for you and your dependents

Direct Hire - Fulltime

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping of goods in compliance with company procedures and quality standards. This is a full-time role that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
Order Packing & Shipping
Accurately pack and palletize distributor orders.
Ensure use of oldest product code dates first.
Wrap pallets using stretch wrap machine.
Verify orders against Bills of Lading.
Complete and update ERP system, packing slips, and bio-terrorism forms accurately.
Communicate missed pickups to the Warehouse Manager.
Receiving & Loading
Inspect incoming and outgoing trucks for cleanliness, pests, and refrigeration.
Reconcile shipments to packing slips.
Accurately count items and ensure loads are secured before transport.
Inventory & Loss Prevention
Practice safe product handling to prevent damage or loss.
Ensure shelf-life compliance and minimize time product is outside chillers.
Conduct accurate order and inventory counts.
Equipment Use & Maintenance
Operate forklifts (electric/gas), pallet jacks (manual/electronic).
Perform daily and weekly safety checks.
Maintain cold storage temperature requirements and notify manager of issues.
Use pallet wrapper safely and perform basic maintenance.
Keep warehouse clean and organized.
Maintain good working relationships with team members and other departments.
Follow HACCP and warehouse safety protocols.
Find efficiencies in warehouse operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but the ability to communicate will in English is more important
Some forklift experience
Some knowledge of ERPs is preferred, but they will use a scanning gun
Must be able to accurately pack orders
