Job Summary

AP Clerk (CONTRACT)

You are an experienced and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist who enjoys working in a quiet, focused environment and thrives in a structured setting. You’re comfortable handling a steady volume of invoices and communicating with internal teams to keep the AP process running smoothly. You're tech-savvy, organized, and ready to support a department. This hybrid role is based in downtown Napa with three in-office days per week and two days remote. 

This position pays: $23-25/hour depending on experience

What you will be doing:

  • Processing 400–500 invoices per month consistently throughout the month
  • Managing invoice intake through Concur, ensuring correct coding by employees
  • Following up with internal staff and vendors to obtain invoice approvals
  • Uploading approved invoices into AMS for payment processing
  • Supporting the existing AP team member, particularly when time off is needed
  • Assisting with invoice tracking and communication to ensure timely processing
  • Working with non-PO invoice workflows in an automated environment
  • Participating in an ongoing assignment with the potential for extended duration

What you bring:

  • 1–3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a high-volume or mid-sized environment
  • Proficiency with Excel for organizing and tracking data
  • Experience with Concur and/or AMS is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal staff and vendors
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a hybrid work setting
  • A collaborative mindset and reliability during team transitions
