About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to provide technical leadership and hands-on maintenance support for both bottling line and facility operations. This role is vital in ensuring smooth bottling processes while maintaining the overall integrity and functionality of the winery’s equipment, utilities, and buildings.
What You Will Be Doing

Lead and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on bottling line equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations.

Conduct preventative maintenance on bottling line machinery to reduce downtime and maintain production quality.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues across bottling and facility equipment.

Oversee general facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, water distribution, wastewater systems, carpentry, and building upkeep.

Perform equipment changeovers, fine-tuning, and adjustments to support production demands on the bottling line.

Manage and maintain maintenance records, equipment manuals, warranties, and spare parts inventory.

Utilize maintenance management software for work order processing, scheduling, and data entry.

Collaborate with bottling, winemaking, and facility teams to minimize downtime and drive operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, sustainability, and sanitation standards in both production and facility maintenance activities.

Support site inspections and regulatory compliance related to facility operations and bottling equipment.

Contribute to sustainability efforts and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What You Bring
-
Minimum of 5 years of general maintenance experience, with proven expertise in bottling operations and facility systems.

Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment diagrams, and technical manuals.

Prior leadership or lead mechanic experience in a production or facilities environment.

Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office programs.

Experience with water distribution, wastewater systems, and HVAC is preferred.

Winery, beverage, or high-speed production bottling experience is highly desirable.

Strong communication and team collaboration skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in active production and facility settings.
