You are a hands-on, reliable team player who enjoys working with tools, materials, and equipment. You’re comfortable staying active throughout the day, helping with different shop tasks, and learning from experienced technical professionals.
This position pays: $28 – $30
What you will be doing
- Provide day-to-day support to shop personnel with assembly, fabrication, and general operational tasks.
- Check tools and equipment for visible issues and notify the appropriate team member when maintenance is needed.
- Help unload deliveries and organize incoming materials, components, and supplies.
- Gather tools and materials needed for scheduled jobs and keep items readily accessible.
- Maintain an orderly shop by keeping workstations, storage areas, and walkways clear.
- Monitor supplies and assist with inventory counts and replenishment.
- Help coordinate the movement of materials and support shipping and receiving activities.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and complete assignments according to team priorities.
What you bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, machine shop, or similar hands-on environment.
- Working knowledge of common hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including basic technical directions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move materials using a pallet jack, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Experience with 3D printing or operating a forklift is a plus.
- A dependable, organized approach to work and the ability to stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work day or evening shifts and occasionally assist with coverage across shifts.
