You are a hands-on Electrician Technician to support reliability testing, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and product qualification in a fast-paced, collaborative laboratory environment. In this role, you will work closely with reliability engineers and cross-functional teams to build and maintain electrical test setups, troubleshoot equipment and products, support environmental testing, and help identify and resolve reliability issues.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with both AC and DC electrical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and solving real-world electrical and equipment challenges.
Pay Rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
Location: Petaluma, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5:00 PM
What you will be doing:
- Support reliability test engineers in the installation and removal of DUT from environmental chambers.
- Support reliability test engineers in the design, assembly, and preparation of test equipment required for validation testing.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting DUT undergoing environmental testing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure timely completion of testing activities.
- Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the laboratory
What you bring:
- One year of post-high school technical education, such as a technical associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proven ability to apply effective problem-solving techniques with a strong attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience working with AC and DC electrical systems, including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
