AP/AR Specialist (CONTRACT)
You are an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional with hands-on experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, learning new systems, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. This contract position will start part-time at 3 days per week and ramp up to full-time, 5 days per week, after approximately 2–3 weeks as training is completed and responsibilities increase.
This position pays: $30/hour
Location: San Rafael
What you will be doing:
- Provide day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support
- Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and payment processing
- Support Accounts Receivable activities, including posting and tracking payments
- Assist with Accounts Payable processing and vendor-related inquiries
- Provide payroll support as needed
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Work within Yardi Voyager for AP/AR and accounting-related functions
- Research and help resolve invoice, payment, and account discrepancies
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding accounting matters
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed
- Complete training on company processes, systems, and newly provided equipment
What you bring:
- Previous Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience with invoicing and general accounting support
- Payroll experience or exposure
- Experience with Yardi Voyager highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in San Rafael
- Availability to start part-time and transition to full-time hours after approximately 2–3 weeks
