Property Manager
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Location: Novato – CA
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join an established organization overseeing a diverse residential portfolio of properties. This is a front-line role for someone who enjoys working directly with tenants, resolving issues, interpreting leases, and keeping property operations moving forward. The successful candidate will be comfortable handling a high volume of tenant matters and will have the judgment and experience to determine responsibilities under the lease, including what falls to the tenant, property owner, or management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant issues
- Review and interpret leases, including responsibilities, restrictions, and obligations
- Evaluate tenant requests and property-related concerns and determine appropriate next steps
- Communicate lease requirements, policies, compliance matters, and resolutions clearly and professionally
- Coordinate residential and commercial leasing activities
- Manage tenant onboarding and offboarding
- Prepare tenant correspondence and documentation
- Track property and tenant matters through resolution
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and management
- Help ensure a responsive, professional experience for tenants while protecting the interests of the property owner
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong residential property management experience
- Experience handling a high volume of tenant relations and property issues
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply lease provisions
- Thorough understanding of tenant, owner, and property management responsibilities
- Confidence resolving difficult or sensitive tenant situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and issues simultaneously
- CCRM certification preferred
