Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

You are an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 8+ years of experience supporting complex real estate transactions, institutional lending, loan administration, entity management, and litigation matters. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with executive leadership, outside counsel, lenders, servicers, accountants, and property management teams.

*THIS IS A TEMPORARY TO HIRE POSITION*

Location: Sausalito, Ca (Training in Petaluma for 90 days)

Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 5:30pm

This Position Pays: $45-$55/hr DOE

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Maintain comprehensive loan files and electronic “Loan Bibles” for institutional loans.
  • Track loan maturities, modifications, reserve releases, servicing requests, and lender correspondence.
  • Prepare lender notices, consent requests, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain SPE and entity compliance, including annual filings, franchise taxes, governing documents, ownership structures, and lender requirements.
  • Manage LLC records, corporate books, organizational charts, operating agreements, and beneficial ownership information.
  • Support outside counsel with document collection, discovery, productions, privilege logs, chronologies, hearing binders, and litigation databases.
  • Support CMBS servicing matters, including assumptions, modifications, cash management, reserve accounting, and servicing correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate, organized electronic and physical documentation and assist with special projects as needed.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies; Certified Paralegal (CP) or similar certification preferred.
  • Strong experience with title, LLC/entity documentation, financing documents, and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Litigation support experience, including discovery and document production.
  • CMBS, loan servicing, institutional lending, or large law firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Adobe, Excel, closing binders, document management systems, and/or entity management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and sensitive, high-value documentation with accuracy and discretion.
