Packaging Production Clerk
You Are a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong SAP experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You are comfortable working with production data, inventory records, and computer systems while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. You can work independently with limited supervision, take direction well, and are flexible to support either shift as business needs require.
This Position Pays: $22.00–$25.00 per hour
Schedule: Training will initially take place on 1st Shift. The position may transition to 2nd Shift, and the final shift will be confirmed later this week. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work either shift.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create, modify, and complete manufacturing orders using SAP.
- Enter production information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review manufacturing orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist supervisors and team members with proper SAP procedures.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Audit finished goods and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Reconcile physical inventory and research negative inventory balances.
- Perform cycle counts and other inventory control activities.
- Generate reports using computer systems and current software.
- Maintain accurate production records through data entry, auditing, and filing.
- Support packaging-related projects and investigations.
- Work throughout the plant and finished goods warehouse to locate and verify inventory.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Packaging Manager.
What You Bring
- Strong SAP experience is required, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 2–4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, MRP, and Microsoft Office is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry and computer skills with experience using networked applications.
- Experience with inventory control, production records, or manufacturing orders.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and resolve inventory issues.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with limited supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and production teams.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and walk throughout the facility as needed.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd Shift.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
