You are a hands-on Palletizer Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You are a strong leader who enjoys working on the production floor, coaching union employees, solving problems in real time, and driving continuous improvement. You are committed to maintaining a safe workplace while achieving production, quality, and operational excellence.
This Position Pays: $35 – $60 hourly
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
What You Will Be Doing:

Lead and supervise daily palletizing operations on rotating shifts.

Ensure production goals for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost are achieved.

Monitor production performance and resolve issues to minimize downtime and waste.

Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate priorities, safety updates, and production goals.

Manage employee performance, attendance, scheduling, overtime, and disciplinary actions in a union environment.

Train, coach, and develop production employees while promoting teamwork and accountability.

Coordinate material flow to support production schedules.

Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with GMPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Partner with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues, reduce downtime, and support root cause analysis.

Complete required production, quality, and safety documentation.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5 Whys, A3, Fishbone, and RedZone performance systems.
What You Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Science, or Technical field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial food manufacturing or production environment.

Experience leading and motivating employees in a unionized manufacturing setting.

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to train and develop employees while driving production results.

Basic mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

Industrial electrical, PLC programming, and mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
