Senior Property Manager
Sacramento, CA
Compensation: $100,000–$125,000 DOE, plus bonus and excellent benefits
Our client, a well-established commercial real estate company, is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial office properties in the Sacramento area. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned property management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams, managing tenant relationships, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of a commercial office portfolio.
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the property management team.
- Partner closely with maintenance, engineering, construction, leasing, and accounting teams.
- Build and maintain strong tenant relationships through regular communication, site visits, and proactive problem resolution.
- Monitor accounts receivable, rent collections, delinquencies, and related follow-up activities.
- Review and approve property-related invoices and expenses.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and insurance requirements.
- Administer lease agreements and monitor tenant compliance.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Prepare financial reports, operating expense reconciliations, variance analyses, and rent roll reviews.
- Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and major maintenance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial property management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong experience with budgeting, operating expense reconciliations, and lease administration.
- Proven leadership, project management, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or CPM or RPA designation preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license and California real estate salesperson license required.
