Event and Operations Manager
Santa Rosa, CA
Full-Time | In-Person | Monday–Friday 8-4
Compensation: $30-40 per hour plus exceptional benefits

Part event host, part operations leader, part community builder, and part business development professional, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating events, building relationships, and helping grow a vibrant business community.
What You’ll Do
Be the Face of the Community
- Welcome members, guests, and prospective members with warmth and professionalism
- Build relationships and foster connections throughout the community
- Create an environment where members feel valued, supported, and engaged
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member questions, requests, and concerns
Drive Membership Growth
- Respond to membership inquiries and follow up on leads
- Conduct tours of the workspace and present membership options
- Convert prospects into members through relationship-based sales
- Support partnerships, networking opportunities, and community outreach efforts
- Promote meeting room, private office, and event space opportunities
Lead Community Engagement
- Plan and oversee member events, workshops, networking mixers, and community programs
- Facilitate introductions and connections among members
- Create communications that keep members informed and engaged
- Help cultivate a welcoming, collaborative culture
Oversee Daily Operations
- Ensure the workspace operates smoothly and professionally each day
- Coordinate vendors, maintenance requests, supplies, mail, parking, and facility logistics
- Manage access systems, bookings, member records, and workspace operations
- Develop and improve processes, procedures, and systems
Team Collaboration
- Provide direction and support to the Community Associate
- Partner with leadership on business initiatives, events, marketing efforts, and member experience improvements
- Contribute ideas that help strengthen the community and grow the business
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys being around people and can effortlessly switch between greeting a new member, giving a tour, solving an operational issue, coordinating an event, and following up on a sales lead.
Success Traits
- Event, marketing, business development and operations expertise
- Outgoing, personable, and naturally engaging enjoys business development
- Strong administrative and basic bookkeeping skills
- Marketing and strong computer skills including Microsoft, Canva and Slack preferred
