You are a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to support multi-state tax compliance and reporting activities. This role is responsible for sales and use tax filings, property tax reporting, exemption certificate management, income tax support, and regulatory filings in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, tax compliance knowledge, and experience working with SAP and accounting systems.

This position pays: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
• Organize, verify, and maintain resale and exemption certificates
• Prepare property filing statements and submit property tax payments
• Assist with corporate income tax returns, tax extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments
• Support withholding tax filings and ensure timely submission of required tax forms
• Compile vendor data and prepare annual Form 1099 filings
• Prepare and file federal and state censuses, surveys, annual reports, and license renewals
• Research tax-related issues and support compliance with federal and state regulations
• Assist with additional accounting and tax-related projects as needed

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of tax or accounting experience with sales/use tax and property tax exposure
• Understanding of tax compliance standards and reporting requirements
• SAP experience highly preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
