Role Title: Buyer Planner
Role Length: 5-6 months
Hours per week: 40 hrs
Location: Milpitas, CA
Rate: $38-$44/hr
Role Summary
- Purchasing and procurement: vendor quote request, order placement, tracking, and management with external suppliers as maintained in an ERP system
- ERP transactions: input purchase orders, minimal purchase order receipts, production work orders, inventory movement (issuing, receiving, transferring)
- Inventory: material cycle counts, miscellaneous requests for inventory status
Education
- AA degree preferred
Capabilities and Experience
- Entry level to Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, charts, etc.)
- Able to work and effectively communicate in a cross-functional role with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
