Electronics Technician I
You are a meticulous and dependable Electronics Technician with strong soldering skills and a solid understanding of basic electronic circuitry. You thrive in a small manufacturing environment, work well under general supervision, and take pride in producing high-quality, detail-oriented work. You communicate effectively with coworkers and demonstrate a strong work ethic and personal responsibility.
4-Month Assignment
This Position Pays: $22/hr. – $24/hr.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Using hand tools and fixtures to assemble and test modules of small scientific instruments according to specifications
- Soldering small surface-mount resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components using magnification
- Following written instructions to assemble, test, and rework products
- Troubleshooting products using diagnostic skills
- Maintaining accurate work records and a clean, organized work environment
- Performing a variety of tasks in a small manufacturing setting under general supervision
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics or related field
- Soldering experience (required)
- Basic knowledge of electronic circuitry
- Excellent dexterity and precision with small components
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Electronics training preferred
