Job Title: Welder
Schedule: Mon – Thurs 5:00am – 3:30pm (Four 10-hour shifts per week)
Pay: $30.00 – $31.00/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to support fabrication and assembly of structural steel components in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to produce high-quality welds on a consistent basis. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and experienced working with heavy materials and blueprints.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Perform MIG (GMAW), Flux-Cored (FCAW), and/or Stick (SMAW) welding on structural steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Assist with fitting, grinding, and material preparation as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols
What You Bring:
• 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Proficiency in MIG, FCAW, and/or Stick welding
• Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols
• Experience working with structural steel or heavy gauge materials preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred (Not Required):
• AWS welding certification
• Experience in structural steel or construction-related fabrication
• Forklift or overhead crane experience
