Office Manager (Nonprofit)
You are a highly organized and proactive administrative professional who keeps office operations running smoothly. This Position Pays: $26/hr
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory; coordinate repairs and maintenance requests
- Serve as the East Bay liaison for office-related service vendors (utilities, property management, copiers, janitorial services, phones, etc.)
- Process and route accounts payable invoices, petty cash requests, mileage, and expense reimbursements
- Serve as Site Technology Coordinator by assisting staff with IT-related questions, troubleshooting, and maintaining technology inventory
- Coordinate agency inspections, maintenance requests, and office safety procedures
- Maintain agency vehicle logs, calendars, and key access
- Support onboarding for new staff, including coordinating email, phones, keys, and required documentation
- Assist clinical teams with referral and intake tracking and data entry
- Participate in the Health and Safety Committee and share relevant updates with staff
What You Bring
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 1 year of administrative or office management experience (nonprofit preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office technology
- Ability to provide basic IT support and coordinate with technology resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and community stakeholders
- Interest in supporting a diverse community of Transition Age Youth (TAY), including youth of color, LGBTQ youth, and youth with disabilities
- Valid California driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to meet agency insurance requirements
- Ability to obtain Community Care Licensing fingerprint clearance (DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index)
