Finance Manager – P2P & Operational Excellence

You are a Finance Manager who supports departmental leadership in driving operational excellence, financial performance, and automation across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable functions. This role leads special projects, develops dashboards and reporting tools, and implements policies and training programs to enhance efficiency, compliance, and financial controls. The position partners closely with IT, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and continuous process improvement within a healthcare finance environment.
This position pays: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
What you will be doing:
- Lead special projects and automation initiatives to improve P2P and AP efficiency
- Design, build, and maintain P2P statistics, dashboards, and operational KPI reporting
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and processing efficiency
- Create training materials and conduct staff training on AP systems, workflows, and compliance standards
- Analyze financial and operational trends; prepare management, variance, and benchmarking reports
- Assist in departmental budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, auditing standards, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Coordinate with IT on system enhancements, data transmission, and automation projects
- Support audits, cost reports, and regulatory submissions with required documentation
- Supervise staff, support performance management, and contribute to workforce development
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive Accounts Payable or finance experience, including 2–3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures, AP automation, and internal controls
- Proficiency in Workday ERP, automation tools, and P2P dashboards/reporting platforms
- Experience developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to connect operational processes to financial impact and identify improvement opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to learn existing workflows, identify gaps, and recommend best-practice solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and IT
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
