Senior Accounts Payable Manager
Remote, US Pacific time

You are a Senior Accounts Payable Manager, responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of the daily Accounts Payable (AP) function. This role ensures the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, maintains compliance with corporate policies and tax/legal requirements, and leads a high-performing AP team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This position pays: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and manage all Accounts Payable operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Oversee timely payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Maintain the integrity of AP data and ensure all processing deadlines are met.
  • Supervise, mentor, motivate, and develop the Accounts Payable team.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers, and suppliers to ensure strong collaboration and service levels.
  • Oversee vendor master setup and maintenance, ensuring accurate tax withholding records and documentation.
  • Administer compliance activities including 1099 reporting, tax withholding requirements, and online TIN matching via IRS systems.
  • Research and resolve complex past-due balances and payment discrepancies.
  • Serve as administrator for AMEX GBT Concur and Concur T&E systems.
  • Maintain and optimize automated AP systems, including Oracle NetSuite, and leverage technology to improve processes and upgrade departmental efficiencies.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and perform additional related duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience within an AP function.
  • Hands-on experience with automated AP systems and client-server imaging platforms.
  • Required experience with Concur (AMEX GBT Concur and T&E) and Oracle NetSuite.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong 10-key skills.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team development skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to think proactively and beyond conventional approaches.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and plan proactively to meet deadlines.
