Job Summary
You Are a detail-oriented Production Planner I focused on coordinating and optimizing packaging production schedules to ensure seamless execution of the Global Planning production plan. You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and proactively balance demand, materials, and capacity to support on-time delivery.
This Position Pays:
$33–$36/hour
What You Will Be Doing:

Maintain and establish production schedules (ERP system or manual Kanban) in collaboration with Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Marketing, and Supply Planning.

Utilize SAP MRP and finite scheduling tools to ensure executable, material-ready schedules aligned with Global Planning demand.

Analyze KPIs (yields, scrap, inventory, capacity, and product life cycles) to identify constraints and prevent downtime.

Partner with Supply Assurance buyers to prevent material shortages.

Generate reports, resolve scheduling messages, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Support continuous improvement through workflow enhancements and process adherence.

Escalate non-routine issues as needed while managing routine to moderately complex scheduling activities independently.
What You Bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Supply Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

APICS CPIM certification preferred.
-
2+ years of ERP experience and/or Lean Manufacturing environment experience.

Strong production planning and scheduling expertise.

SAP MRP systems proficiency.

Experience in biologicals, chemistry, or liquid manufacturing environments highly preferred due to product complexity.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Strong operational discipline with a continuous improvement mindset.
