Financial Reporting Supervisor
Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)
You are a Financial Reporting Supervisor, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting for the consolidated reporting of different Healthcare entities under the foundation. Reporting to the Finance (Reporting/Gift) Manager within the Controller’s Office, this role oversees complex financial reporting deliverables, provides consultative support to finance leadership, and drives process improvements and automation to enhance reporting timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
This position pays: $78.00 to $82.00 per hour
What you will be doing:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities
- Manage quarterly EMMA filings, monthly financial reports, board materials, analyst surveys, and variance analysis
- Support preparation of IRS Form 990 and nonprofit financial reporting requirements
- Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal policies
- Provide consultative guidance to financial management on reporting issues and analysis
- Identify, document, and resolve operational and reporting challenges proactively
- Develop and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to optimize reporting systems and tools
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial reporting experience
- Experience with nonprofit accounting and IRS Form 990 preparation preferred
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel; experience with Workday Financial and Workiva preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP and complex, multi-entity financial reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a commitment to ethical standards and continuous improvement
