Human Resources Generalist (Contract 4 months)
Location: Campbell, CA
Schedule: In office 3 days per week
You are a detail-oriented, self-motivated HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across a global organization. This hands-on role spans multiple HR functions, including onboarding, HRIS management, benefits coordination, compliance, and employee data integrity. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and experienced in handling sensitive HR matters while juggling multiple priorities.
This position pays:$38.00 to $40.00 per hour
What you will be doing:
New Hire Onboarding & Orientation
- Conduct new hire orientation (US & APAC), maintain onboarding materials and slides
- Manage first-day logistics and communications; coordinate with IT and Facilities
- Complete I-9 and E-Verify processing, including reverification
- Maintain accurate UKG entries, including benefits and profile updates
- Employee Data & HRIS (UKG) Management
- Create/update cost centers, job codes, and compensation data in UKG
- Manage EANs and coordinate updates with IT and Finance
- Support performance review processes and ensure HRIS data accuracy
- Generate custom reports and maintain report schedules
- Troubleshoot timecard/vacation issues and manage leave records
Document & Folder Maintenance
- Maintain employee picture folders, internal decks, VOE records, and 1095 forms
- Keep internal HR documentation and contractor records up to date
- Ensure digital files are compliant, organized, and confidential
Communication & Coordination
- Manage HR inbox, handle termination alerts, and conduct exit interviews
- Coordinate global benefits support and open enrollment
- Liaise with Finance and IT for employee data updates and organizational changes
Systems & Tools Oversight
- Maintain HR platforms: UKG, Nectar, LinkedIn, OrgChart, SharePoint, Ease
- Update holiday calendars and dashboards; upload currency conversion rates
Finance & Compliance
- Reconcile HR-related invoices and validate 401(k) contributions
- Track and report benefits data, including quarterly and 10K updates to Finance
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a high-tech or global environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience working with HRIS systems; UKG experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of employment laws (FLSA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- High level of discretion with confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently or collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
