Accounting Clerk – Part time 20 hours per week (Contract)
Location: Napa, CA (onsite required)
You are an accounting professional who will be responsible for executing daily accounting tasks, primarily in accounts payable, and providing general office support. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong communication skills, capable of managing vendor and internal interactions with professionalism and efficiency.
This position pays: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour
What you will be doing:
- Process accounts payable including invoice matching and check requests
- Verify, code, and input invoice data into QuickBooks
- Resolve payment issues and respond to internal/external inquiries
- Reconcile accounts payable and related general ledger accounts
- Communicate with management and vendors regarding payment and invoice discrepancies
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
What you bring:
- 2 years of Accounting support experience
- Experience in Accounts Payable and MS Excel
- Experience with Stampli AP preferred
- Ability to navigate Accounting systems
- Familiarity with general accounting principles and financial reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professionalism when dealing with vendors, team members, and management
