Electrical Engineer –
Microphone Design, Development, and Support




You are a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in acoustics
and audio electronics. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance
high-performance microphone products, ensuring optimal quality and performance.
You will also support existing product lines and collaborate with
cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Pay Rate:$30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Location: onsite, Menlo Park, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00pm


What you will be doing:

  • Maintain
    and improve existing microphone product lines, ensuring consistent quality
    and performance.
  • Design
    and develop new microphone products, focusing on miniaturization,
    concealment, and audio quality.
  • Collaborate
    with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during
    manufacturing.
  • Assist
    the quality assurance/testing team in developing and implementing rigorous
    quality assurance protocols.
  • Conduct
    research on emerging technologies and materials to enhance product
    performance and innovation.
  • Create
    and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, test
    reports, and design specifications.
  • Provide
    technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.

What
you bring:

  • Bachelor’s
    degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience
    in audio electronics, preferably in the design and development of
    microphones or similar small audio devices.
  • Proficiency
    in circuit design, signal processing, and analog/digital electronics.
  • Experience
    with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Strong
    understanding of acoustic principles and audio signal chain optimization.
  • Hands-on
    experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting electronic
    systems.
  • Familiarity
    with manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
  • Excellent
    problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong
    communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Experience
    with miniaturized electronics and wearable technology.
  • Knowledge
    of wireless audio systems and RF design.
