Electrical Engineer –
Microphone Design, Development, and Support
You are a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in acoustics
and audio electronics. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance
high-performance microphone products, ensuring optimal quality and performance.
You will also support existing product lines and collaborate with
cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
Pay Rate:$30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Location: onsite, Menlo Park, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00pm
What you will be doing:
- Maintain
and improve existing microphone product lines, ensuring consistent quality
and performance. - Design
and develop new microphone products, focusing on miniaturization,
concealment, and audio quality. - Collaborate
with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during
manufacturing. - Assist
the quality assurance/testing team in developing and implementing rigorous
quality assurance protocols. - Conduct
research on emerging technologies and materials to enhance product
performance and innovation. - Create
and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, test
reports, and design specifications. - Provide
technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.
What
you bring:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Experience
in audio electronics, preferably in the design and development of
microphones or similar small audio devices. - Proficiency
in circuit design, signal processing, and analog/digital electronics. - Experience
with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB design. - Strong
understanding of acoustic principles and audio signal chain optimization. - Hands-on
experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting electronic
systems. - Familiarity
with manufacturing processes and quality control standards. - Excellent
problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong
communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience
with miniaturized electronics and wearable technology. - Knowledge
of wireless audio systems and RF design.
