Early Careers University Recruiter (Contract 8 month)

You are an experienced and motivated Early Careers Recruiter to drive university and early career hiring initiatives across North America. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our future talent pipeline by managing high-volume recruitment cycles, developing strategic campus partnerships, and delivering a world-class candidate experience. You’ll collaborate across global teams to create innovative hiring programs that redefine what early talent acquisition looks like at a modern tech company.

Location: Remote (CA or WA based preferred)

This position pays: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for university and early career talent across intern and graduate roles
• Develop and execute campus event strategies to build talent pipelines and promote Atlassian’s employer brand
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define hiring needs and guide debrief sessions
• Track and report on candidate progress using recruiting tools such as ICIMS
• Collaborate across global teams (APAC, India) to implement and scale early careers programs
• Experiment with new recruiting initiatives and refine current strategies to stay competitive
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing company to external candidates and academic institutions

 

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in university/early careers/campus recruiting, preferably in the tech industry
• Proven ability to manage high-volume recruiting cycles and tight deadlines
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., ICIMS or similar)
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities
• Confident public speaker with a passion for engaging with student talent
• Willingness to travel for campus events and recruitment activities
