You are A detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician who is passionate about ensuring product quality and food safety in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You have a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and thrive in maintaining high standards for production processes.



This position pays: $22-$24 per hour



Location: Rohnert Park, CA



Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (some Saturdays as needed)



What you will be doing:

  • Performing audits in production and non-production areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Conducting pre-startup checks, including line/room clearance and equipment verification
  • Reviewing batch documentation in real-time to ensure adherence to product specifications and company SOPs
  • Assisting with sensory evaluation of in-process and finished products
  • Executing environmental monitoring tasks such as swabbing, inspections, and investigational activities
  • Conducting line audits and process verifications to identify and address potential risks to product quality
  • Performing inspections during and after sanitation, including ATP swabbing, microbial testing, and allergen checks
  • Submitting daily analytical and microbiological samples for lab testing
  • Collaborating with production teams to improve quality standards and understanding of key quality factors
  • Ensuring proper handling of non-conforming materials and escalating issues as necessary
  • Assisting in audits, certifications, and compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., Organic, Kosher, Non-GMO verification)
  • Participating in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives


What you bring:

  • Must have experience in Quality Assurance within the food or beverage industry
  • Knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, and regulatory compliance for food safety
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough audits and inspections
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use digital tracking systems, Experience with Redzone a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred)
  • Ability to work in cold, wet, and humid environments and lift up to 55lbs
  • Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and different shifts as needed
