Material handler

You are Material handler- main role will be supporting the distribution in all material handling functions. These functions will include and not limited to: Box making, Labelling, Cold environments processing, Picking (walking), Packing (standing) carrier package sorting, and safety clean up. Processing areas are rotated weekend weekly with material handlers flexing between area of operation throughout the day. Meeting daily shipping objectives is the goal.

Compensation: $19hr

Location: Richmond, CA

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm

 What You Will Be Doing:

• Box making, Labeling, picking and packing.
• Package sorting and clean up.
• Meet daily shipping objectives. 
• Cold environments processing.
• Cooperation with all, supporting the teams daily warehousing objectives. 
• Maintaining good Quality of stored material and materials designated to customers.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

What You Bring: 

• HS diploma or equivalent. Related experience with a warehouse facility.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills in applicable programs, Use of RF scanning device
• Self motivated to get the job done right the first time.
• Basic problem solving skills , Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work While being flexible and adaptable
• Ability to lift 50lb items.
